OECD COP26 Virtual Pavilion: Better Policies for Climate Action

Must read

The latest report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change clearly shows that climate change is underway and it is accelerating. It is urgent and critical to accelerate progress towards net zero, enhanced resilience and alignment of finance flows. Recent momentum on increased climate ambition is encouraging. The challenge now is to channel that into increased action.

The OECD supports and helps drive higher levels of ambition and tangible outcomes that better align with the collective goals of the Paris Agreement. From 25 October through 12 November, for the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26), the OECD is bringing together its contribution to climate action into a single platform.

The OECD COP26 Virtual Pavilion will host a breadth of online events and content to present a unified OECD contribution on climate action, providing data, analysis and policy solutions to reach the goals of the Paris Agreement.

Panels composed of policy experts, government officials and thought leaders and other participants will discuss and share insights and the latest data across a range of topics, from adaptation to reaching net zero emissions and financing the transition, from local solutions to the transformation of specific economic sectors.

We invite you to register for sessions and explore the range of contributions on climate here.
